Learning new technologies and figuring out how they can best help people is one of my favorite aspects of user experience design. Another part of the role I truly enjoy is user research with prospective end users. Incorporating my learnings into products that can improve people’s lives motivates me more than anything.
My early work at Yahoo! focused on communication applications. Later, as an independent consultant, I branched out into mobile design for banking, commerce, and navigation applications. Most recently I've delved into the world of IoT, working closely with clinicians to see how wearables can be used to help monitor high risk patient populations.
I’m interested in joining a software company where I can contribute to the product end-to-end, from early product strategy to the final interaction details. I’d welcome a leadership position that combines hands-on design work with mentorship opportunities.
