Intro

suzanne Ginsburg

Learning new technologies and tackling the design challenges they present is one of my favorite aspects of user experience design. Another part of the role I truly enjoy is user research with prospective end users. Incorporating my learnings into products that can improve people’s lives motivates me more than anything.

I’ve been doing user experience design and research for large and small tech companies for more than 15 years. I’ve also written and taught about design. My book, “Designing the iPhone User Experience,” was published in 2010. At UC Berkeley, I was the lecturer for the graduate course, “Designing Mobile Experiences.”

Head of Design

Ejenta

With the Ejenta platform, clinicians can remotely monitor high risk patients. Clinicians create custom care plans for their patients and can be alerted when their patients are off track. Patients receive reminders & motivation to help them follow their care plan.  I've been Head of Design since 2014.

UX consultant

Disney

In 2012, Disney acquired a mobile app which enabled users to make & share personal stories with text, photos and videos. Disney adapted the software for their audience and tested it with prospective users. The testing surfaced many usability issues, raising concerns around product adoption. They brought me on as a UX consultant to help address these issues.

UX Consultant

Intuit

Back in 2011 (3 years before Apple Pay launched ) Intuit was interested in exploring the mobile wallet landscape and potential opportunities for Intuit. The Design Innovation Group hired me as a consultant to research & develop mobile wallet design concepts.  The goal of my work was to help the larger company visualize mobile wallet possibilities and for Intuit to then dedicate a team to build a full fledged product.
