Ejenta IoT Health App
As the sole designer, I led all aspects of Ejenta's service design including requirements gathering, user research, concept development, interaction design, visual design, and messaging. During my tenure we launched two remote health monitoring pilots in partnership with Kaiser-Permanente.
Ejenta Watch Concepts
When the Apple Watch first came out, Ejenta was interested in exploring ways to best utilize the platform. I researched existing Watch apps, reviewed the design guidelines and came up with a few different concepts that could showcase the Ejenta platform.
Intuit Wallet Mobile App
Before Apple & Google Pay launched, Intuit was interested in exploring the mobile wallet landscape. The Design Innovation Group hired me as a consultant to help visualize mobile wallet possibilities and to then share this vision across the company.
Disney Storytelling App
Disney wanted to help its users tell their own stories. They acquired a story creation iOS app and adapted it for their target audience. Subsequent user research surfaced many usability issues, raising concerns around product adoption. They brought me on to help address these issues.
Intuit Android Tablet App
Intuit brought me on to the lead the interaction design for the Android tablet version of their white label online banking solution. The app was full featured, including an Accounts View, Bill Pay, Peer-to-Peer Transfers, Check Deposits and more.
Yahoo! Photos Website
During my 6-year tenure at Yahoo! I worked on Photos, Groups, Profiles, and more! In my latter years, I focused on Photos and led two major redesigns with a 6-person design team. The last redesign improved photo management and dramatically improved the UX.
Proteus Design Principles
Prior to to its official public launch & FDA approval, Proteus brought me on to conduct an in-depth UX competitive analysis and to develop guiding product design principles based on the analysis and industry best practices.
Walmart Mobile App
In collaboration with a team at Adaptive Path, I helped redesign the existing Walmart app to improve usability and better support the in-store shopping experience. I focused on the search and browse experience as well as the product & store detail views.
I led Hotwire's hotel search redesign including search results, search refinement strategies, and hotel detail views. In addition to the interaction design, I was also responsible for usability testing, including the study plan, study guide, user interviews and reporting.
In collaboration with the Method design agency based in San Francisco, I worked on the redesign of an early iteration of the Autodesk website. My efforts were primarily focused on the new site's information architecture, navigation, & search functionality.
US Holocaust Museum People Search
During my graduate studies at UC Berkeley, I created a service to help families and researchers trace the individual histories of Holocaust survivors and victims. I led the needs assessment, database design, interaction design, visual design, and prototype development.
